KJA is different. We don’t put profit ahead of our clients’ peace of mind.

Since we only take on 5–6 projects a year, we personally show up on your site every single day. We know your job like we know our own homes. We act as an extension of your team. When you call, we answer. When you have a concern, we listen.

There’s no point in turning over a beautiful new home if you hated the experience that got you there. For us, the customer journey is just as important as the way the house looks.

About the owner

Founder & Owner · 45 years

Ken Schwebel

Ken cut his teeth in the carpenters union in New York City (he may have even lied about his age to join, but that’s a story for another day), working on iconic commercial and residential buildings across the Manhattan skyline.

He went on to start his own general contracting company during the Westchester County real estate boom — and has built custom homes for the last 45 years, from 180‑acre estates in Bedford, NY to oceanfront residences on Palm Beach Island.
